Open Qualifier #6

Only Male Indiana Residents are eligible to compete in this Championship.

Professional, including non PGA Member professionals.

Amateurs who possess a current IGA-PGA GHIN handicap index not exceeding 10.4.

One is considered an Indiana Resident if:
(1) Maintain his primary residence in Indiana;
(2) He is qualified to vote in local, state and federal elections in Indiana;
(3) File a state income tax return in Indiana.
(Exception for Students) A student who is claimed as a dependent on his parents’ or legal guardian’s income tax is deemed to be a resident of  the same state in which his parents or legal guardian reside.  A student that is not claimed as a dependent is required to meet the above residency requirements.

Players meeting the following criteria are exempt from qualifying for the Indiana Open Championship:

1. All past Indiana Open champions
2. Indiana PGA Professional Championship champions from the last five (5) years
3. Last years Pepsi Indiana Golf Championship champions
4. Last years Senior PGA Professional Championship champion
5. Last years PGA Assistant Professionals Championship champion
6. Top twenty (20) and ties from last years Indiana PGA Professional Championsip
7. Top twenty (20) and ties from last years Indiana Open Championship
8. Host Golf Professional
9. Indiana Amateur champions from the last five (5) years
10. Top twelve (12) and ties from last years Indiana Amateur
11. Last years Northern Open champion
12. This years Southern Open champion
13. Last years Indianapolis Open champion
14. Last years Senior Open champion
15. Last years IGA Match Play champion
16. Last years IGA Mid-Am champion
17. Last years Boys State Junior Champion

All competitors who qualify for the Indiana Open are required to pay a $50 registration fee to the Prairie View Golf Shop.  This fee will pay for carts and range fees for all four days of the championship.
